Under Fire
A Candid Look at the Military Chaplaincy
with Lee Adair LAWRENCE, Director, Chaplains Under Fire, Fr. Ken BOLIN, Military Chaplain, and Andrea HULL, Editor, Chaplains Under Fire
Presented by Crossroads Cultural Center and Radius
Crossroads DC's second installment in exploring the lives, challenges, and hopes of our tens of thousands of returning veterans will give the vantage point of another type of serviceman disengaging from active Middle Eastern theaters—the chaplain. Director Lee Adair Lawrence will share her experience in making the independent film, Chaplains Under Fire, for which she spent months in Iraq and Afghanistan with troops sometimes thwarted by boredom, anger, loneliness, fear, and death. Co-panelists Andrea Hull, film editor, and Fr. Ken Bolin, a military chaplain and former infantryman, will add their personal insights about this unique and courageous ministry, and what it means to our servicemen and women in need.
The event is open to the public and free of charge.About this Event
