TOBIN, Tom
Mr. Thomas Tobin is a graduate of Georgetown University with a BA in English Literature. He has subsequently done graduate work at George Washington University and the University of Maryland. He taught literature at the High School Level for the last twenty years, designing literature curriculum and teaching in the International Baccalaureate Program and Advanced Placement Courses. He currently teaches at The Avalon School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He has a particular love of Walker Percy, a writer whom he cites as a major influence on his understanding of what makes a human being a human being and why it is so difficult to live in accordance with what we are in the modern world.
