CENCI, Otello
Otello Cenci is an art director, actor, film director and event coordinator. He was born in Rimini, Italy (1971), where he also studied and graduated with a degree in law.
Mr. Cenci is the President of a Production Company, “MADE" and since 1998 has worked as Art Director for the Meeting for Friendship among Peoples, the biggest summer festival of lectures, exhibitions, music and live performances in the world.
He has produced, directed and performed in hundred of events. He produced musical events with Riccardo Muti, Ennio Morricone, Lou Marini of the Blues Brothers and other American musicians. He has adapted and directed Miguel Manara, A Day with Giacomo Leopardi, and Teatro dell'Arca and has been the coordinator and art director for "The Happening for Youth" in Bologna, Italy.
Mr. Cenci has worked with prominent Italian actors such as Giancarlo Giannini, Massimo D'Apporto and Alessandro Preziosi.
Since 2007 Mr. Cenci has been the producer of the International Short Film Festival presented at the Meeting of Rimini and in collaboration with New York’s School of Visual Arts.
Currently he is working on the production and direction of the play Caligola by Albert Camus which will be performed as the opening for the August 2010 Rimini Meeting for Friendship among Peoples.
Otello Cenci is married with 4 children and lives in Rimini, Italy.
