BUSINGYE, Rose

Rose BusingyeRose Busingye was born in 1968 in Kampala, Uganda. She is a registered nurse specializing in infectious diseases.

Since 1992, she has been working with people affected by HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases. She is the founder and President of the Meeting Point Kampala Association, which takes care of the people sickened with AIDS, their orphans, as well as rendering assistance to the young.

She stands out because of her daily, precious work, which is often behind the scenes but nonetheless fundamental to the education of so many needy children.
