A Discussion of the Life and Legacy of Dietrich von Hildebrand
with John Henry CROSBY, Founder of the Hildebrand Project and Editor of Hildebrand's anti-Nazi papers My Battle Against Hitler (Random House, 2016, paperback edition)
Presented by Crossroads Cultural Center and CUA School of Philosophy
How does a person become Hitler's enemy number one? Not through espionage or violence, it turns out, but by striking fearlessly at the intellectual and spiritual roots of National Socialism. Join us for a discussion on 20th Century Philosopher Dietrich Von Hildebrand with John Henry Crosby, President and Founder of the Hildebrand Project, who recently edited Hildebrand's memoir entitled, My Battle Against Hitler: Faith, Truth, and Defiance in the Shadow of the Third Reich.
Crosby will discuss Hildebrand's work in the dramatic period of the Nazi threat, as well as his enduring and prophetic legacy. Book signing to follow. The event is open to the public and free of charge.About this Event
