Natural Gas: Human Capital at Work

In the past decade, Southwestern Energy has pioneered natural gas discoveries in Arkansas’ Fayetteville Shale. Under Harold Korell’s leadership, the company founded one of the biggest natural gas fields in the nation. This is the latest development in the booming unconventional gas business that is reshaping the energy landscape of the United States.
Mr. Korell will discuss the "The Formula" to Southwestern’s success and the fundamental importance of the "human factor" in the economic sphere, and how the development of human capital starts with cultivating the innate curiosity in people that leads to innovation, creativity and hard work.
The lecture will be introduced by Dr. Tyler Priest, Director of Global Studies, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
