These scientific-futurist guys are talking about exponential progress through computers and artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, 80% of the people in the world earn less than $10.00 a day and 33 million people are infected with AIDS. While scientific research is good, I think that certain scientist-futurists need to be rethinking and redirecting their idea of progress.
